Why I Love...Interesting Book Covers
I'm finally getting in to the groove of things and have found time to post something for Why I Love Wednesday. This excites me greatly because I feel like I've been such a slacker in participating. Not my normal self at all :( Anyway, today's Why I Love concerns something that, ironically, I was talking about with a book rep about today: Book Covers . While I try not to "judge a book by its cover", there are times when I am draw to something simply because I find the cover intriguing or shocking or pleasant. And when that happens, I have to read the book! Here are some of my favorites: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs I remember the first times I saw this cover and I immediately wanted to know what it was about. It looked so haunting. The levitating girl gazes at you in a really penetrating way, it's almost as if you can't look away. What if you miss something? What if something crazy happen...
