C is for...Crossroads and Come As You Are
We're at the midway point for week one of the A-Z Blogging Challenge and things are moving along smoothly. Today's letter is C! "Tha Crossroads" - Bone Thugs-N-Harmony This may come as a shock, but I freakin' loved me some Bone Thugs-N-Harmony back in the day. It was my brother who first introduced me to Bone and this was the song that I fell in love with. I remember sitting in the playroom as a kid constantly rewinding the tape to listen to this song over and over again. That cassette tape was so worn out I had to toss it. Yikes! This song got me into the rap and hip hop scene that I had previously not been interested in. *Fun Fact : "Tha Crossroads" was a tribute to famed N.W.A member, and Bone mentor, Eazy-E and it won the 1997 Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group.
