Top Ten Tuesday: New Series I Want to Start

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and it's a way to share what you're loving in list form. The topic changes every week, so there is always something new to discover!
This week's topic is:  New Series I Want to Start Reading.  I'm going to go with series that I want to start in general though...not just new ones.  In no particular order, here's my list:

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
  • Because I love Scotland...and miss Scotland...and like historical stuff.
Legend by Marie Lu
  • This sounds like a fun series.  Similar to lots of dystopian series out now, but fun regardless.
The Selection by Kiera Cass
  • I love the cover art on this series.
Caster Chronicles by Kami Garcia
  • Saw the movie, Beautiful Creatures, and it was decent.  I would like to see if the books are as good as everyone says.
The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare
  • Again, would like to see if they are as awesome as everyone claims they are.  I haven't seen the film, but I would assume I'm not missing much seeing as how the reviews weren't stellar.
All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness
  • Witches, mysteries, and vampires.  This sounds pretty sweet!
Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
  • The series got rave reviews from a lot of people when it came out.  I've always meant to read it.
The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini
  • Same with this one.  Great reviews.
Finishing School by Gail Carriger
  • I just love a good Gail Carriger book.  They're fun, funny, and entertaining.
The Hangman's Daughter by Oliver Potzsch
  • This series was recommended by a friend and I love the cover art.  They look awesome.
Not too many upcoming series, but ones that have been on my TBR list for awhile.  Maybe it will be my goal to start plowing through these.

Look for next week's Top Ten:  Characters I Would Want to Be for Halloween or Books/Movies to Read/Watch to Get in the Halloween Spirit.  Verdicts still out on which I'll choose!

Oooo...the day is getting closer; creeping stealthily, it will smack you in the face in no time! B is for...Bend
