Top Ten Tuesday: Recent Acquisitions
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and it's a way to share what you're loving in list form. The topic changes every week, so there is always something new to discover!
This week's topic is: Top Ten Books That Have Recently Come Into My Possession. This can be in any form but, as luck would have it, I recently purchased a bunch of books from the local library. Every 4th of July weekend, the library has a Friends of the Library book sale and it is a real treat! I managed to walk away with twelve new books for 5 bucks. Score!
Hot damn...great scores!!!
I also went on a Kindle spree and downloaded 12 books in three days...the free ones because I'm too cheap to actually purchase a book that I can't physically possess...haha.
What new books have you recently acquired?
Happy reading!

Oh, The Lake of Dead Languages. I forgot about that book. I read it a long time ago. I think it was really good. I look forward to your review to refresh my memory. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I have no idea when I'll get to it. I'm currently working on a three-month reading challenge and I've already got my books picked out through September! Hopefully soon, though :)
DeleteOooh I haven't heard of these before. Some look really good. I love it when you can score big and walk away with a ton of books for next to nothing.

I hadn't heard about a lot of them either, but they all sounded pretty good when I was perusing the shelves. Thanks for visiting, Melissa!
DeleteI'm sure I've got a copy of The Boy in the Water buried somewhere in my TBR Pile!
