A-Z Challenge Reflections

The A-Z Blogging Challenge has come to a close and now it's time to reflect on the month-long event... 

Overall, this time around (my fourth) was a resounding success...personally.  Though I didn't garner many comments throughout the challenge or a boatload of new followers, it was refreshing to post on a non-book related topic.  It was also really nice to rediscover music that I had completely forgotten about or hadn't heard for years.  So many memories!

This idea of reminiscing, though completely unintentional, perfectly aligned with this year's challenge and its dedication to Tina.  What a beautiful community she was a part of and what an honor it is to be a participant.  I had tossed around several ideas for this year's challenge, but remembering music seemed to really stick.  How fitting in reflection.

    I noticed the same decline in social media action. I had a good amount of hits during the day, but only a few comments here and there. I still had a great time. You had some very good music choices and it was a nice little reminiscence for me. Congratulations on finishing A to Z! Elle @ Erratic Project Junkie

    I enjoyed seeing your music choices throughout A-Z… even if I only found your blog over halfway through the challenge. Comments or not, I enjoyed the challenge and I'm looking forward to participating again next year. Hopefully, you will too! :)

Oooo...the day is getting closer; creeping stealthily, it will smack you in the face in no time! While we impatiently await the start of the challenge, it's time to reveal our themes.  Yay!  I'm going for something drastically different this year.  Something much more challenging than I've ever done in my previous four years participating in this particular challenge.  Normally my posts are pretty straight-forward, contained, not overly ambitious.  This year is going to be another beast all together. B is for...Bend

It's day two of the A-Z Blogging Challenge and B is our designated letter today.  Unlike last year, I've decided on a dedicated theme to guide my posts for this month's challenge and have chosen:  sites and points of interest in Oregon .  I sat down last night and filled in my list (for the most part...some of those pesky letters are tricky) with places and things that I think are awesome and must-see stops for anyone traveling through the Pacific Northwest.  So, without further ado, let's get this virtual tour started!
