Teaser Tuesdays: Madame BovaryA Daily Rhythm. Here are the rules: grab whatever you're reading, open to a random page, select no more than two sentence (NO SPOILERS), share the title and author, and GO!
Here's this week's teaser:
"As to Emma, she did not ask herself whether she loved. Love, she thought, must come suddenly, with great outbursts and lightnings, -a hurricane of the skies, which falls upon life, revolutionises it, roots up the will like a leaf, and sweeps the whole heart into the abyss." --page 62Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert
I've been meaning to read this for years and I've owned it for a while (I really enjoyed A Sentimental Education). Finally getting around to actually reading it. Thoughts?
