H is for...Here I Go and Head Over Feet

Greetings, fellow A-Zers!  Welcome to Thursday and the letter H!

H is for "Here I Go Again" and "Head Over Feet"

"Here I Go Again" - Whitesnake

Hair bands...you really can't go wrong...and Whitesnake is one of the stand-outs!  This song brings back great memories and always puts a smile on my face.  It's also a great karaoke song, if you're interested in that type of thing :)

*Lyrics: "Here I go again on my own / Goin' down the only road I've ever known / Like a drifter I was born to walk alone / An' I've made up my mind, I ain't wasting no more time"

"Head Over Feet" - Alanis Morissette

Ah, angry 90s music.  It's so good and no one did it better than Alanis Morissette.  However, despite all the anger, there was this little gem on her Jagged Little Pill album, and I loved it!  While the whole album is quite good, I really enjoyed this song because the lyrics are really beautiful.

*Lyrics:  "You've already won me over in spite of me / Don't be alarmed if I fall head over feet / Don't be surprised if I love your for all that you are / I couldn't help it / It's all your fault"

What are some of you favorite H songs?

  3. I read Here I Go Again and thought you were speaking of the song by OK Go...also a complete winner in my book. As for Alanis Morissette...I was a fan in my angsty teen years. Now she's one of those artists you more or less have to be a closet fan of. Yes...I own Jagged Little Pill. Yes...You Oughta Know came on the radio the other day and I turned it down so people walking by my vehicle in the parking lot wouldn't hear it. The shame... Elle @ Erratic Project Junkie
